Flooring

Floors are an important part of the house. The texture and the color bring style to the house. There are many kinds of floors like laminate, hardwood, vinyl sheet and vinyl tile. The different between these are the flooring desing and the flooring material. The experts say hardwood may last a lifetime, laminate may last for 15-30 years, while vinyl tile may only last for a few years. However, If we are tooking about economy prices laminate and vinyl tile are more affordable. Also, we can't forget the installation price, it is another additional price. Something the prices between hardwood and laminate floor don't vary a lot of and at the end if prefer to buy hardwood floors.

Color Splash

Color Splash is one of my favorite programs in HGTV. I like this program because it is about the combination of different colors and techniques. Just righ now I have to choose the color for the walls in my house. I pick up light colors because I don't like strong colors. Also, something that it is very important the space of the house that means it is a small or big house. If the space is not too big you have to pick up light colors. It helps the house looks big enough. Floor color helps too. Something when we apply the color on the walls it isn't the same color. Then we have to combine different colors. All these tricks help us to get the righ color.

Sports

Sports are very popular for all over the world. There are a lot of kinds of sports like swimming, soccer, beisbol, basketboll, tennis, etc. The same sports we can practice in different countries. The different is that some countries are particulary stronger in one or two sports. For example in Colombia the stronger sport is soccer. That no means that we don't play more sports. We play everything but soccer is the main sport. Soccer in the USA is not a popular sport as it is in South America countries. So every country has his main sport to play.

Curb Appeal

I like to see those programs about curb appeal. Curb appeal is the first view that you see in front of the house or the exterior of it. The landscaping, the portico, the front door and the windows are a complement of the curb appeal. The front of a house is the first impression that buyers look when they are approaching it. That's why it is very important to have a clean and nice curb appeal in front of our homes. To have nice curb appeal requires a lot of money, maintenance and care, but at the end of the day when you want to sell the house all these investments bring value to your home. So don't forget to have good curb appeal in your home.

The Village

The Village is one of the most popular place to visit in New York City. There are a lot of things to do every day especially at night. We can find a lot of entertaiment in bars, restaurants, coffee bars and wine bars. There are a lot of kind of restaurants like japanese restaurants which offer a delicious meals a good prices. Also there are a lot of fashionable boutiques and shoping. We can find a lot of people walking at night around the area. Also we can see people exercising and walking with their dogs. It is a very expensive area to live because it is located in the heart of down town New York. I like this place and want to visit it more frecuently.

Snowing

A huge snowstorm hit New York last night and this morning. It is unbeliavable to see how everything in a few hours turns white. It is beautiful to see everything white, but the next few days everything is dirty. The snow changes color, starts to melt and forms ice. In many cases it can be dangerous because people can easily slip and hurt themselves. However, kids like snow because they can go outside and play with it. Also dogs enjoy the snow too. A lot of people like snow because they can enjoy outdoor activities like skating and skiing. Personally, I don't like snow and the cold weather.

Mental and Physical Disabilities

Some people born with mental or physical disabilities, but other people get these throught the time by any accident, illness or virus. Dealing with these difficulties are very difficult for many people because it is a long process which require a lot of patience. It is not only patience that people need to have, it also require a lot of family and friends help. Support and understanding for part of these people can let them to overcome these obstacules.
