Mental and Physical Disabilities

Some people born with mental or physical disabilities, but other people get these throught the time by any accident, illness or virus. Dealing with these difficulties are very difficult for many people because it is a long process which require a lot of patience. It is not only patience that people need to have, it also require a lot of family and friends help. Support and understanding for part of these people can let them to overcome these obstacules.

Obama Speech

The new president of the United States Barack Obama offered yesterday a speech about his social and economic plans. In his speech he spoke about putting money into the economy to provide new college loans, auto loans and small business loans. Also he emphasized three important points such as education, energy and health care. He said health care can't wait, everybody must have this benefit. In addition, the education is the next point to consider because everybody has to have more than a high school education degree. All these points sound really good but we have to wait to see what will happen.

Jealous

Jealous is one of the qualities that can cause a lot of pain in our lives and in other people lives. For me it is a kind of illness that some people can not control and make them to do stupid things that can destroy many lives. For example, I saw a news about a boy of 13 years old who killed his father's fiancee per jelaous. Also, a lot of couples kill his or her parther per jealous too. It is unbelievable to see the power of this feeling especially in a young boy that is starting to live and know how it is the world outside the home.

Interview to Donald Trump

Donald Trump is one of the most popuar business men in the United States. Two days ago in an interview, he said that the economy is going to take a long time to recover even though the goverment is putting a lot of money into it. He said the goverment is giving money to the banks as an incentive to the economy, but banks don't want to lend this money to the investors to create new businesses. This situation affects the economy because it is necessary to create new businesses to reduce the unemployment.

Domestic Animals

There are many animals like dogs, cats, and birds which are living in houses with humans. They share their lives with their owners, some of them like dogs take care of the owner and the home. Some people like to have strange animals as a pets and these animals with time can be dangerous. Today I saw a news about a chimpanzee which attacked the owner's friend. The owner said that he never did something like that before and she was been training him since he was a baby. I think people should'n have these kinds of animals in home because they are wild animals and they need to live in their natural habitat.

Premature Sex

Having sex at the age of 13 years old isn't normal because at this age boys and girls don't know what they are doing. I saw a news yesterday about a young boy and a young girl who had sex. The result of this situation was a baby. The girl is 15 years old and the boy is 13 years old. When the news showed the boy, he was carring the baby in his arms. The journalist asked him about how he was going to finance the baby's expenses and he didn't know the meaning of the word finance. For me this news broke my heart because I can't imagine if something similar to this happen to my children. I don't understand how these things can happen in the world.

Valentine's Day

February 14 is a popular holiday around the world because many countries celebrate Saint Valentine's Day. However some countries celebrate this day in different dates. For example in Colombia Valentine's Day is called Dia del Amor y la Amistad and it is celebrated in September 20. On this day people express their love for each other giving gifs like chocolates, flowers and by sending Valentines' cards. Also people go out to have a dinner with their couples, their friends or their family. This day is not only for lovers, it is for everybody. I love this day and I hope all your have a happy Saint Valentine's Day.

American Idol

American Idol is one of the programs which expires a young people to reach their dreams and goals. The judges of this program go around all the United States to look for people who have a great talent for singing. The auditions are very long and exhausting for the judges and the contestants. But, at the end of the day the price to be a winner is higer. The person who wins this competition gets a lot recognition, popularity and support of many people and sponsors. In conclusion, I like this program and I think it is a good oportunity for the people to show their talents.

The Bible

The Bible is the most important book into the catholic religion. It is one of the most read books in the world. This book teaches us how the universe, the men and the animals were created. Also, It teaches us the God's love for the men. That's why that the men should know all the Bible's scriptures and profess the God's faith. The scriptures say that we must believe in God to find the salvation in the kingdom of God. I think it is an interesting book that we should make it part of our lives.

Famous People

To be a famous person means to lose you privacy because everything that you do something everybody is going to know. For example Michael Fhelps a young man who loss his privacy because he won eight gold medals in the 2008 Olympics . Now he is very popular and if he does something right or wrong everybody is going to talk about it. I know being a famous person brings a lot of benefits but the cost of those benefits are very high. As for me, I prefer to have a normal life, do whatever I want and enjoy my liberty.

House Renovation

The majority the houses in New York for sell need any renovation. It is very difficult to find a house completely renovated. If you find a house completely renovated that's means that it is very expensive. However, I think it is better to buy a house ready to live because if you dont't have enough money to fix the house, you have to borrow more money from the bank to fix it. The advantages of using your own money insted of bank's money allow you to save more money and pay less money for the mortgage.

American English and British English

Yesterday I saw a program in HGTV channel about house hounter international. They showed a young British couple who were looking for house. This program kept my attention because I could see the different between the accents. I understood everything that they were saying but some words sounded very different. I think people in England pronounce some words the way they are writing. This is very interesting for me because many words I pronounce the way they are writing. I think it maybe easier for me to learn British English than American English.
